This is part of a daily writing project in conjunction with photographer Sarah Tesar. For every day of May 2017 I will be writing a short piece inspired by Sarah’s daily photos as posted on her Instagram feed.

Strangers passing in the night. Brought together by errant winds, nearly face to face. In no objection to each other; more alike than they realize.
They may never cross paths again. The winds will likely shift back to normal patterns, the moved souls reverting to normality. But at least they met, even just once. As close as they may be before and after meeting, they are separate enough.
This chance encounter, thrown together by storm. Pulled apart the same way. Proof that chaos yields random rewards – and takes it away just as quick.
